Ascension Parish Council recognized those who came together to clean up and refurbish Ascension Veterans Park, a place dedicated to honoring our heroes.

A huge thank you to The Home Depot Foundation for your incredible support and generosity, to Scout Pack 65 for stepping up and making a difference, and to Chris Day with Olin Chemical for your commitment to our community.

A very special thank you goes to Major Shelby Ballard, whose leadership and dedication made this project truly exceptional. Your passion and hard work inspire us all!

This park is now a renewed space of reflection, pride, and gratitude for our veterans, thanks to all of you. Together, we make Ascension Parish shine brighter.
