The 2025 lineup includes artists from a range of genres like country pop, rock, regional Mexican and R&B. Nine entertainers will make their rodeo debuts this year, including Grupo Frontera, which will headline Go Tejano Day on March 9.

Pop superstar Post Malone will also make his debut when he takes the rodeo stage as the show’s wildcard performance this year. The announcement of his performance comes just days after the rapper from the Dallas area came to Houston for a halftime performance with Beyoncé during the Houston Texans’ game at NRG Stadium. While in town, he visited The Railyard bar, where he tipped one lucky waitress $20,000.

AJR, a multi-platinum indie pop group that’s accumulated billions of streams on hit tracks, will make their first appearance at the rodeo this year. Several country artists, including Reba McEntire, will make a return this year.

Reba McEntire

Reba McEntire will make a return to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo stage 11 years after her last performance at the event. She holds one of the organization’s highest honors as the first woman inducted into the Star Trail of Fame in 2007.

Her 2025 appearance marks her 20th performance at the rodeo after first gracing the stage in 1984, according to the organization.

Brad Paisley

Brad Paisley will join the stage for his 17th performance at the Houston rodeo this year. For nearly 25 years, his songwriting has landed him awards from the Grammys, Country Music Awards and American Music Awards.

He has entertained more than 1 million rodeo-goers since his first performance in 2001.

Brooks & Dunn

Brooks & Dunn has performed at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo 21 times. They’ll return this year on March 22, before Luke Bryan’s rodeo-wrapping performance on March 23.

During Brook & Dunn’s 2007 performance, the duo performed in front of their 1 millionth rodeo fan. The group is the first to be added to the Star Trail of Fame.

“Each season, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo aims to bring a strong lineup of artists that reflects our Western roots while still offering an array of music that embraces Houston’s culture,” Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo said in a statement.

“Nine entertainers will make their debut on the star stage, alongside some rodeo fan favorites and hall-of-fame artists, some of which are returning for the first time in over a decade,” Boleman said.

Tickets for the rodeo will be on sale on Jan. 16 in two waves — one at 10 a.m. and another at 2 p.m. The first wave is for performances from March 4 through March 13. The second wave is for performances from March 14 through March 23.
