Fire near Pasadena forces evacuations after different fire devastated LA County’s westside neighborhoods

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. – As firefighters worked around the clock to respond to the massive fire in the Pacific Palisades, another fire broke out in LA County – this time near Pasadena.

The “Eaton Fire” was first reported near Altadena Drive and Midwick Drive a little after 6:15 p.m. on January 7 near the Altadena-Pasadena area. At last check, the fire had spread to 400 acres with 0% containment, according to Cal Fire.

As of Tuesday, 7 p.m., officials did not say if the fire had caused any damage to nearby buildings or homes in the area.
