Former Orioles pitcher Brian Matusz has died, the team announced Tuesday night. He was 37 years old.Matusz pitched for the Orioles from 2009-2016.In a statement, the Orioles said:”A staple in our clubhouse from 2009-2016, Brian was beloved throughout Birdland, and his passion for baseball and our community was unmatched. He dedicated his time to connecting with any fan he could, was a cherished teammate, and always had a smile on his face.”Matusz received a World Series ring from the Chicago Cubs in 2016 after appearing in one game during the season.

BALTIMORE —Former Orioles pitcher Brian Matusz has died, the team announced Tuesday night. He was 37 years old.

Matusz pitched for the Orioles from 2009-2016.
