How Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon led Newcastle past Arsenal in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg

It was a great all-around team performance from Newcastle. No real weak links.

Goalkeeper Martin Dubravka was solid and strong when called upon in potentially his final game for the club.

The full-backs, young and English, were good, especially Lewis Hall, who should be right in England contention. The centre-halves, led by Dan Burn, massive. Botman was good on his second match back from injury too.

In midfield, Joelinton threw himself around with abandon, while Sandro Tonali was a colossus. Great clinical finishing and pressing from Isak and Gordon up front too, while Jacob Murphy is smart and underrated.

The subs did their job too.
