Nuggets set for free TV broadcast against Rockets on Sunday

DENVER — The Denver Nuggets take on the Houston Rockets Sunday at 5 p.m., and you can watch the game and Altitude Sports’ coverage for free. Coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. Sunday on KTVD Channel 20. 

Houston takes on Denver looking to secure the season series and extend their two-game lead over the Nuggets for the second seed in the Western Conference. 

The Nuggets (44-27) are just 8-8 since the All-Star break. Denver lost for the third time in four games on Friday with a 128-109 disappointment against the Portland Trail Blazers

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and 9NEWS announced a deal to broadcast 20 Nuggets and 20 Avalanche games for the 2024-25 season on KTVD Ch. 20. Several games will also be simulcast on 9NEWS.

You can watch both stations for free with an antenna connected to your TV. You’ll find 9NEWS KTVD, the MyNetwork TV affiliate, on channel 20.1.
