Willis throws a deep jump ball near the right sideline and Malik Heath comes up with the grab at its highest point for a 41-yard catch and a first down. Wilson then finds open space and gallops 21-yards for a touchdown, but the two-point try fails when the ball slips out of Willis’ hand. The Bears lead, 21-19

The Packers begin at the 17 and Willis finds Reed for 17 yards and a first down. However, Two plays later hes sacked for a six-yard loss setting up a 3rd and 10. Willis hits Kraft three yards short of the first down at the Packers’ 41 and Whelan punts. The Bears take over at the 34 with 7:34 to play.

Caleb Williams, D.J. Moore connect for 32-yard touchdown to put Bears up, 21-13

Williams converts a pair of third-and-5 snaps to receiver D.J. Moore for first downs, the second coming at Green Bay’s 36. On second-and-6 from the 32, Moore catches a short pass near the sideline and breaks a couple of tackles to go in for the touchdown.

The Bears go for a two-point conversion to try to go up nine points, but the reverse to Keenan Allen fails. However, a defensive holding penalty gives the Bears a second chance. This time, they opt to kick the extra point, making it 21-13 with 10:02 to go.

Packers opt not to try field goal, fail on fourth down

Taking advantage of increased playing time with the Packers resting Josh Jacobs, Chris Brooks gets three of the first four tocuhes on the series and he breaks the third carry for 23 yards and a first down at the Bears’ 44.

After three plays gain seven yards, instead of trying a 55-yard field goal in frigid weather, the Packers try a jet sweep to Jayden Reed on fourth down and don’t come close to making it. The Bears take over at their own 39.

An eight-yard run by Wilson gives the Packers a first down at the Bears’ 32. But on the next play, a crushing hit by Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards on Malik Willisk dislodges the ball and Chicago’s Teven Jenkins recovers at the Packers’ 46-yard line.

Xavier McKinney gets eighth interception

A 13-yard pass on third-and-4 gives the Bears a first down at the Bears 49. On third-and-8, Caleb Williams breaks a couple of tackles after keeping it himself but comes up five yards short. On fourth-and-5, Williams hits Roschon Johnson for the first down at the Packers 40.

On the next snap, Keenan Allen throws a ball downfield on a trick play for D’Andre Swift and it’s picked off by Packers safety Xavier McKinney. He returns the ball 17 yards before fumbling, but Edgerrin Cooper recovers the ball at the Packers’ 44. It’s McKinney’s eighth interception of the season.

Bears lead Packers, 14-13, at halftime

A third-and-7 throw from Caleb Williams to Keenan Allen gives the Bears a fresh set of downs at the Packers’ 48-yard line. However, a false start and an incomplete pass sets up a third-and-11 with 42 seconds left. Williams overthrows his receiver on third down and the Packers get the ball back at the 10-yard line. Chris Brooks runs out the clock with a 4-yard run as the Bears lead, 14-13, at halftime.

Dontayvion Wicks’ reception sets up 30-yard field goal for Brandon McManus

Dontayvion Wicks comes back to the ball on an underthrown pass by Malik Willis on third-and-6 from the Packers 33, and Wicks makes a nice adjustment for a nifty 31-yard reception. Chirs Brooks gains 13 yards on second-and-6, giving the Packers a first down at the 18. On third-and-9, a slingshot throw to Wicks gains five yards, bringing up fourth down at the 2-minute warning. Brandon McManus kicks a 30-yard field goal to make it 14-13 with 1:57 to play in the half.

Jordan Love, Christian Watson questionable to return after injuries

Fox reported that quarterback Jordan Love and wide receiver Christian Watson were questionable to return after they were injured.

Watson was carted off the field. Love had a sleeve put on his elbow and is holding a football on the bench with his jacket and helmet on.

Four carries by Swift produce 25 yards for the Bears, but on 3rd and 6 from the Bears 49, a short pass to Moore loses two yards and the after a 53-yard punt, the Packers will start at the 20 with 7:25 left in the quarter.

Josh Jacobs gets rushing touchdown for eighth straight game after Malik Willis replaces injured Jordan Love

On second-and-15, Malik Willis finds Tucker Kraft for 20 yards. Josh Jacobs then scores from the 9-yard line to give the Packers their first touchdown and close the gap to 14-10. It Jacobs’ eighth straight game with a rushing touchdown, breaking a team record shared with Paul Hornung.

Jordan Love, Christian Watson injured

Jordan Love comes out throwing and hits Dontayvion Wicks for 16 yards, but Christian Watson is injured on the play, stopping action with 14:02 left in the second quarter.

It appeared to be a non-contact injury to his right knee. He did walk off the field.

After an incompletion to Tucker Kraft, Josh Jacobs catches a short shovel throw across the middle, with Love under heavy pressure, and picks up 12 yards.

But Love hits his throwing hand while going down and appears to be injured. Malik Willis replaces Love.

Bears take advantage of turnover, lead 14-3 after D’Andre Swift touchdown

D.J. Moore’s 16-yard reception on second-and-8 puts the Bears inside the 10 at the 4-yard line. D’Andre Swift then does the rest with a 4-yard touchdown run and the Bears lead the Packers, 14-3, despite only 15 yards of offense.

Jayden Reed fumbles after punt, giving Bears golden opportunity in Packers’ territory

After the field goal, Chicago’s Tyler Scott nearly takes a knee at the 1-yard line but returns the kickoff to the 26. Williams’ short pass to Roschon Johnson loses four yards and, on third-and-14, Johnson gains seven yards on another short throw. A false start moves the Bears back and Tory Taylor’s 49-yard punt is fair-caught by Jayden Reed.

However, on the Packers’ first play of the drive, Reed gets the ball on a jet sweep and the ball is punched out by Jaylon Johnson. The Bears’ Jonathan Owens recovers at the Packers’ 21-yard line with two seconds left in the first quarter.

Brandon McManus field goal cuts Bears’ lead to 7-3

Jacobs is back on the field for this series, which starts with a 16-yard pass to Dontayvion Wicks to get the ball to the Packers 45. Malik Willis comes in for a snap on first-and-5 and gets three yards. Jacobs carries for six on the next snap on second-and-2 and gets a first down. A pass to Luke Musgrave for 19 yards is ruled incomplete, but reversed after Matt LaFleur’s challenge, giving Green Bay another first down at the 19. However, Green Bay gains just one yard in the next three plays and, on fourth down, Brandon McManus kicks a 37-yard field goal.

Josh Blackwell returns punt for touchdown, gives Bears 7-0 lead

Emanuel Wilson is out for the Packers in the second series and gets the carry on two of the Packers’ three snaps, including a first down.

On third-and-6 from the 44, Love throws the ball at Chris Brooks’ feet and the Packers are forced to punt again. However, Whelan’s 36-yard punt is returned 94 yards by Josh Blackwell for a touchdown.

Blackwell took advantage of a decoy from D.J. Moore, who acted like he was going to fair-catch the punt, drawing most Packers to Moore’s side of the field.

Rashan Gary sack causes Bears to go backwards on first series

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams’ first snap at Lambeau Field is not a good one as he’s sacked by Rashan Gary. The Bears lose seven yards and it’s the 68th sack the Bears offensive line has allowed this season. After another negative play, Williams is forced to check it down on third-and-21 and punt after three miserable snaps. The Packers get the ball at their own 40 after a 16-yard return by Jayden Reed.

Josh Jacobs gets early work, but Packers forced to punt after five plays

How much will Packers fans see Josh Jacobs today? The answer, at least on the first drive, is plenty.

The Packers running back got three of the first five touches on the series but, after one first down, the Packers are forced to punt. The snap goes over Daniel Whelan’s head, though, with no rush, he’s able to get a 35-yard punt off. The Bears will start from the 25.

Defensive tackle Karl Brooks, Pro Bowl safety Xavier McKinney and quarterback Jordan Love are the Packers’ captains.

It’s fitting Brooks gets the honor since his fingertips on a blocked field goal in the closing moments of the Packers-Bears game earlier this season helped Green Bay get out of Chicago with a 20-19 victory.

The Packers are getting one wide receiver back today but will be without another in the regular-season finale against the Bears.

Christian Watson is returning after he missed last week’s game with a knee injury. However, Romeo Doubs is out with an illness.

The Packers continue to miss several players on defense. Linebacker Quay Walker (ankle), safety Evan Williams (quad), defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. (foot) and safety Zayne Anderson (concussion) are among the inactives. Aad cornerback Jaire Alexander was placed on injured reserve this week following knee surgery.

Green Bay weather for Packers vs Bears

And it certainly feels like it at the Frozen Tundra.

The wild chill is 5 degrees at Lambeau Field about an hour before kickoff of the Packers-Bears game. The temperature for the noon kickoff is set to be around 17 in Green Bay, according to the National Weather Service’s forecast.

But the frigid temps aren’t bothering Carrington Valentine.

Who will the Packers play in the playoffs?

The Packers will play one of three teams in their NFC wild-card playoff game. It will be either the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams or Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If the Packers are the seventh seed, they’ll play the No. 2 Eagles, who have already clinched that seed heading into today’s game against the New York Giants.

If the Packers are the sixth seed, a spot they’ll get only with a win and a Washington Commanders loss today, they’ll face the No. 3 seed, which will be either the Rams or Buccaneers.

The Rams will get that seed with a win in their regular-season finale against the Seattle Seahawks or a loss by the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers will get that seed with a win over the New Orleans Saints and a Rams loss.

The Buccaneers-Saints game kicks off at noon and Rams-Seahawks is a 3:25 p.m. start.

Packers record, tiebreaker with Commanders

The Packers come into the game against the Bears with an 11-5 record. It’s the same record as the Washington Commanders.

But the Commanders hold the tiebreaker (a better conference record), meaning if the two teams finish with the same record Washington gets the sixth seed and the Packers will be the seventh seed.

The Commanders play the Cowboys at the same time the Packers are playing the Bears today.

Meanwhile, former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers could be playing his final game of his NFL career today when his New York Jets play host to the Miami Dolphins at 3:25 p.m. Rodgers is one touchdown pass away from his 500th in his career.
