For a second season in a row, the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will conclude the regular season at Lambeau Field. Today’s game marks just the second time since 2008 that the two teams’ game at Lambeau is an early afternoon kickoff, but with only one of these teams heading to the postseason (and already locked into either the #6 or #7 seeds at that), there’s less on the line than usual this afternoon.
The Bears enter today’s game at 4-12 and on a ten-game losing streak. The Packers are 11-5 and will play next week, with their destination to be determined. But it’s always a bit unpredictable when these two teams get together, as their last game demonstrated: it took Karl Brooks’ blocked field goal as time expired for the Packers to escape Soldier Field with a win.
