Over the weekend, Tom Holland and Zendaya went on a date that was far from home.
On Friday, the Spider-Man cast members were observed walking around the Louvre in Paris. They were pictured holding hands and standing in a line. Zendaya, 26, wore a blouse dress and spectacles, while Holland, 26, wore a striped sweater tucked in with the sleeves folded up.
Holland and Zendaya were recently seen spending time together in New York City during the days leading up to Zendaya’s birthday last month. They were seen holding hands after getting coffee in Manhattan on September 2, the day after her birthday. The day before, they celebrated her special day at MAMO restaurant in New York.
The Emmy-winning Euphoria actress thanked her supporters and celebrated her birthday by sharing a photo of herself as a young child grinning in a pool. This year, she turned thirty-one.
“I get to spend the day responding to the most beautiful messages (sorry I’m a little late) thank ya’ll for filling my heart with so much love, I couldn’t be more grateful 💕,” she wrote in a message. “Here’s to 26!”
In an interview with GQ in November, Holland explained his desire to maintain the privacy of his relationship.
I’ve always been quite particular about keeping my personal affairs private because I already divulge a great deal about my life to the public. We felt as though our privacy had been violated “Holland remarked. It’s not about not being ready, in my opinion. Simply put, we were unwilling to.”
In the cover article, the actor continued to extol his relationship, calling Zendaya “instrumental” in his life. However, she concurred that there is a “confusing and invasive” side to the public seeing a peek of their private moments together.
“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own,” said Zendaya. “I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing, and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
Earlier in August, Holland captioned a video with the words “hello and goodbye,” announcing that he would be taking a break from social media. He said he would be taking a break for his mentаl health in the video message, and he referred to Instagram and Twitter as “overstimulating” and “overwhelming.” Taking advantage of the occasion, he also urged his fans to make donations to the UK-based charity Stem4, which supports adolescent mentаl health.
Holland said, “When I read things about myself online, I get caught up and I spiral.” “And ultimately, it’s very detrimentаl to my mentаl state so I decided to take a step back and delete the app.”
