Vice President Harris is expected to speak Monday afternoon after Congress certified President-elect Trump’s electoral victory.
The certification officially cemented his win over Harris ahead of his inauguration with no objections from any lawmakers.
Harris presided over the event, donning a business-like or expressionless demeanor and refrained from any applause.
