But the job is not done. Here’s what needs to happen in week 18 for your Bengals to see the postseason. First, they have to beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. That’s no easy task, as the Steelers are still in the running for the AFC North title and *** first round home game. Next, the Miami Dolphins need to lose to the New York Jets. The Jets don’t have anything to play for except for pride and maybe *** better draft pick, so they might try to lose the game. Who knows? And finally, the Chiefs need to beat the. Broncos in Denver. It’s already been reported the Chiefs will be resting key starters like Patrick Mahomes, but here’s the thing. Do the Chiefs want the Bengals in the playoffs? They really hold this in their hands. If everything happens, the Bengals would be the 7 seed if they got in and go to Buffalo for wild card weekend. They beat the Bills. That would send them back to Arrowhead and to Kansas City for another Burrow versus Mahomes showdown, which we would all love to see. The Bengals get another Saturday kickoff at 8 p.m. then hopefully we all sit back and scoreboard watch with the Dolphins and Broncos kicking off Sunday at 4:25.
